Multi talented singer-songwriter, Alexander 23 began his musical journey at 8 playing guitar and finding his way at 12 writing songs. Even with his love for music, this Chicago native found his way to local Philly school Upenn studying engineering and eventually dropped out to pursue music full time!
His success has been continuously rising since his tour with Alec Benjamin and now with his huge Tiktok popularity and for his songs “Idk you yet” & “Cry over boys”!
We got to head to a press conference with 1824 and Alexander and learned more about his background and his upcoming EP project “Oh, no, not again!”
This Ep is incredibly mature and feels like such a raw body of work from Alexander. Here’s a bit from Alexander about ‘Oh no, not again’: “I didn’t set out to write an EP, These songs belong together” “The cycle of making mistakes over and over again not learning from them”.
With some songs off this EP being crafted during quarantine, he found his way in songwriting and writing during the pandemic, This EP is bound to be able to touch so many people emotionally.
