Nothing else screams the beginning of the holiday season more than the annual Christmas tree lighting at the Citadel Outlets in Commerce, CA.
With 18,000 lights, 10,000 ornaments, and measuring at 115 feet, the Citadel Outlets Christmas tree is claimed as the tallest fresh-cut Christmas tree in California. Individuals from near and far travel to see this tree in person along with a snow fall show every night through December.
Performances
In an effort to officially light the tremendous tree for the first time, the Citadel Outlets produces their annual tree lighting concert that features artists/groups that perform prior to and after the lighting – except 2020 because of the global pandemic.
This year, the crowd got a performance from tree lighting veteran for the past several years, X Factor finalist, John Lindahl, Valentine in the Morning’s “Holiday Star” contest winner, Tory Floyd, and Orange County School of the Arts’ Montage!, hosted by Valentine and Jill from 104.3 MYFM’s Valentine in the Morning.
