Toronto based band “Valley” just released their brand new single “Park Bench” and announced the release of their new EP MAYBE: Side B which will be released this summer! .This is the second installment to VALLEY’s project, MAYBE and follows their first EP, MAYBE: Side A which was released in November of last year, listen to the first half, HERE.
“In a vertical age i’ll just scroll it away” That line set up the story behind this song. “Park bench” is the start of part two of the “Maybe” project.
Park Bench in my opinion is a satire of the modern relationship that is completely immersed in digital media and selfishness. This production of this song is insane, the break between a soft techno vibe in the beginning to the bridge where it turns into a full band performance is unlike anything I’ve heard in awhile! This song is so technically beautiful yet so raw, “Park Bench” shows the real side of Valley and the passion that they have not only as musicians but storytellers!
