On Saturday, November 12, the Citadel Outlets held their annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony (presented by COACH) featuring FUTUREPOP, Orange County School of the Arts – MONTAGE, and Good NEWZ Girls! After some amazing music and entertainment at center court, a crowd from near and far gathered to light California’s Tallest Fresh Cut Christmas Tree.
“Our Christmas tree lighting ceremony and concert event is notorious for hosting incredible promising talent and kicking off the holiday shopping season in Los Angeles,” said Manny Pereida, Sr. Marketing Manager at Citadel Outlets.
Prior to the official lighting countdown and the kickoff of the night, Orange County School of the Arts, MONTAGE gave an joyful performance of holiday classic like “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer,” and more.

Following the performance from MONTAGE, was LA based pop group, FUTUREPOP (members comprised of Maceo Sicam, Sienna Melgoza, Sierrah Hudson, and Tanner Zahn). The group had a packed setlist consisting of covers like “Bad Habits” by Ed Sheeran, “Mistletoe” by Justin Bieber, and even surprised the crowd with a performance of their very first original single – which will be out on December 2nd.

Headliners of the night, Good NEWZ Girls (members comprised of Baylee Morrison, Isabel Gonzalez, Mikaela Astel, and Nayah Damasen), took the stage afterwards showcasing their beautiful harmonies and vocals, and amazing dancing to fans old and new in the crowd. With a setlist of classics like “Silent Night,” to songs off of their latest EP – “Winter Getaway,” and more, it got everyone into the holiday spirit.

- The Citadel Outlets Christmas tree is “California’s Tallest Fresh Cut Christmas Tree” – 115ft
- The tree is decorated with 10,000 bows and ornaments.
- Aside from the Christmas tree being the main attraction, Citadel Outlets’ “Snowy Nights” snow show, will be held nightly every hour on the hour in Center Court from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m to get you in the holiday spirit.
