Total Access Pass got the amazing opportunity to cover and attend the Shops at Montebello’s Christmas tree lighting event today with special guest, Danny Trejo!
The Event
On Saturday, November 16, 2019, The Shops at Montebello held their first ever Christmas tree lighting ceremony – and will continue to be an annual family friendly event from now on – in center court with amenities such as free hot coca, a silent DJ, face painting, and giveaways! From Real 92.3 LA’s “The Cruz Show,” Cruz got to give away free Real 92.3 shirts, lanyards, and even Post Malone concert tickets to selected guests that were around!
To kick off the marvelous event, well-known actor and entrepreneur, Danny Trejo, took the stage to do a little q&a session with Cruz and even some with the audience. Within the q&a session, there was also a “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” sing-along session with Danny, one little fan, and eventually the entire crowd.
Lastly, before the stage portion of the event was over, the first 100 (and a couple last minute more) got to meet and get a picture with Danny as well!

Overall, we loved being able to attend and check out this magnificent event! It was definitely one of the #MontebelloMoments we will never forget and cannot wait to hopefully cover again next year!
