RECAP: MAX “Colour Vision Deluxe Experience”

By looking at the state of live shows being unknown at this point in time, many artists are using platforms like LiveXLive and many others to put on virtual “live” concerts for the fans. In partnership with LiveXLive and Live-Side, MAX presented the “Colour Vision Deluxe Experience” on February 27, 2021. We got the oppportunity to check out the show along with many other fans.

Production

We have to give major props and applaud the entire production crew (lighting, sound, stage design, etc.) for this portion of our recap! It wouldn’t be right if we didn’t! Going off of the “Colour Vision” album art, a giant Rubik’s cube took center stage for the entire show surrounded by a live band. Lights were placed around the entire stage and in front of the band in an outline form. Everything about the production aspect of this show was amazing and really captured each song perfectly! Some of our favorites were “Colour Vision,” and “There Is A God!”

Setlist

With a 40 minute set that includes songs from the “Colour Vision” album MAX released in 2020, and the infamous “Lights Down Low” that was one to kickstart his music career today.

Exclusive Content

Following the end of the live show, an exclusive video curated during the filming of MAX’s Blueberry Eyes (remix) featuring Lil Mosey, SUGA of BTS, and Olivia O’Brien was shared with all attendees – from green screens to the final product.

Overall Thoughts

While we were not able to attend a concert in-person, MAX was able to make us feel as if we were physically there! If we look at the positives of a virtual show like this, we can all say we got the “front row” experience! After such an amazing show like this, we would definitely recommend seeing a MAX concert – physically (when it is safe) or virtually!
